The Mountains

When I was young I was in awe of a man named Edmund Hillary and his mission to climb to the top of the world. I read many stories of his adventures and dreamed of one day visiting Nepal and seeing the Himalayas. In December 2012 we finally got to live the dream.
We didn't trek high into the mountains but next time we will venture further into the mountains. We did stand and soak in the fantastic views of the Annapuna Range in the background from a number of vantage points along our chosen journey. One morning in Bandipur we lay in bed and watched in awe as the sun lit up these mountains to start a new day.
I am sure that once this has been viewed you never forget the magic.
